Role of Iran Coupler Industrial Group:

Supply of specialized rebar threading machines, training of threading operators, supply of spare parts and consumables for threading machines, supervision of threading operations, supply of all rebar couplers required for the project, and supervision of rebar connection operations.

Coupler Type Used:

کوپلرهای استاندارد میانی، انتهایی و تبدیل در سایزهای 32، 28، 25، 22، 20، 18 و 16 منطبق با نوع دوم ACI-318

Approximate Quantity of Couplers Used:

Approximately 100,000 units

Special Project Requirements:

طرح گسترش معدن  مس سونگون از استان آذربایجان شرقی به سمت استان آذربایجان غربی .

Technical Challenges:

Specially designed End Couplers were used in tunnels where rebar rotation was not possible.

Solution Provided by Iran Coupler:

Providing specialized consultation on the use of threading machines, standard thread dimensions, and the proper application of rebar couplers as an alternative to the lap splice method.
